change.

Recently we've had an assignment in english to focus on a human right, and write about it, and then eventually to help make a change.  I think changes are made through everyday people- changes are made through people who believe that there is something worth fighting for--people who are willing to sacrifice everything they have for another human being.  Changes aren't something that come easy- they are something you have to throw the entirety of your heart into-- and that is how a change is made.

I think changes take someone who is willing to sacrifice it all for the good of someone else. It takes someone who is willing to stand strong no matter the consequences.  The change can come from anyone-- anyone who is willing to fight, anyone who feels like they have something to  fight for.

Change is hard, and when you are the person sparking the change, it seems nearly impossible.  It becomes more than impossible when the resistance starts.  People naturally resist change.. in fact they fight against it.  And then the change becomes an all out battle.  Sides form, and the battle begins, it beats especially hard on the leader-the one who started the change.  and soon the change consumes them and the movement becomes their life.  Is it worth it?

I think it is absolutely worth it.  We need to suit up and run into battle--we need to fight for what we believe in.  We need to fight for each other because we are not strong enough alone.  When we fight for each other we form connections and soon we become an unstoppable force.  We push past the people who resist and soon we change things for the better.  and If we can change things for the better--I believe that it is worth it to give everything, I believe it is worth it to throw our lives into the cause, and i believe that it is worth it to stand unwavering no matter what comes at us.  If we can make the world a better place, it is worth everything we've got.
